·Teachers’ salaries (from April 2003, the school’s 8 teaching staff’s monthly salary was raised to 4000NR (from 2400NR) and the Principal’s to 6000NR)
·Scholarships for 9 disadvantaged children (of which 5 also received a young goat as part of an income generating scheme)
·Rent
·Operations costs
·The purchase of a computer, a CD/cassette player, furniture, educational materials, reference books, playground equipment and ceiling fans
