Introduction
Heading to Nepal? Everest of Apples and NEST are looking for volunteers. NEST encourages potential volunteers to review the various NEST projects and get involved in one or more that interest them.
This is a wonderful opportunity for members of the JET community. NEST is willing to arrange a two-day orientation and introduction to the Nepali language in Kathmandu and make arrangements for accomodation in the capital. After the orientation, volunteers can stay with a Nepalese family, where 2 Nepalese meals a day will be provided. The price for the homestay is extremely reasonable.
It is a great opportunity to get involved with local people, to learn about Nepalese culture, to share your own culture, and to make a positive, lasting difference in Nepal.
